The young golfer can count on multiple prominent backers when she makes her LPGA debut this Thursday.
This teenage golfer, who happens to be related to Donald Trump, was granted a tournament invitation to play at the Annika tournament in Florida.
The former president, an avid golfer, possesses multiple international courses and regularly plays against Kai.
"He's fairly competent. I can't reveal details but we play some close matches," she revealed.
The golfer shared that Trump, who won't be present, told her: "Simply stay calm."
"He basically told me to compete and relax," she explained.
"To me, he's just a regular grandfather. He can't make it this weekend. He's busy with presidential duties, so he's rather occupied."
While still amateur, Kai has played in a mere three competitions recently and has the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association standings.
But she's able to receive tips from golf legend, romantically involved with her mother.
"He represents the best player in the world," Kai stated.
"Furthermore, he's a superior human being. He told me to compete, relax, following whatever happens."
The golfer will compete against some of the biggest names in women's golf at the competition, including world number two the champion, England's Charley Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.
The LPGA commented that Kai's presence brings golf to wider groups, particularly among the next generation.
Kai boasts a massive following and recently launched her own apparel and wellness company.
The competition starts at late afternoon GMT.
